Last year, Rev. Grace Burton-Edwards of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Columbus, GA wrote to me with a great surprise. She was leading a study group within her church on my book: Resisting Empire: The Book of Revelation as Resistance. She invited me to meet virtually with her church for an evening of conversation and questions it was a great time.

But that's not all, she also told me she wrote a 60-page study guide for the book! She's granted permission to share it with you all here. It's really quite amazing all the work she's put into it, including adding current political and contextual pieces, which keeps the text fresh and relevant.

If you have interest in reading, or re-reading the book, on your own or with a group this study-guide is ready to go out of the box. I also like seeing the way she embedded some of the Episcopal tradition (Book of Common Prayers, for instance) into the text. If you're an Episcopal, you'll appreciate that aspect and if you're coming from another tradition or background you will get a peak into the gifts of interfaith dialogue.

Download it and enjoy.

Thanks, Rev. Grace and St. Thomas for sharing.
