Analog Tools

These are my "analog defaults." Inspired by Brad over at Pen Addict, these are the analog tools I use everyday. For those of you who have been following along for long enough or know me in person, you know I love pens, good paper, and notebooks. I try to always have at least a notebook and a pen with me. I love writing and drawing as a way of processing what's going on or what I'm thinking about. This has been true since I was a young kid and carried my drawing supplies in a portable drawing board with storage. My general rule is, paper first if at all possible. This has been true since I was a young kid and carried my drawing supplies in a portable drawing board with storage. My general rule is, paper first if at all possible, then digital and these are my most regular go-to analog tools.

I've done these lists before (see below) but I like the idea of keeping a page for the tools I'm currently using. At some point, I might add digital as well.

I use the plotter mini 5 square for my "wandering" notebook. Ideas, things I notice, quotes, queries, and other things I find inspiring.

๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ Pentel Energel .07 (a hall of fame pen for me).

I use my Plotter Bible size for organizing (my new GTD Moleskine if you will). It has a yearly calendar I use for planning, a spot for projects, goals, and big picture things. And I make daily pages with tasks, schedule, and notes which is where most of my work goes during the day.
